I just wear it all the time so I thought it counted as part of my clothes.

Well, the badge is technically part of my uniform. But if memories are important, it's something that has a lot of strong emotions that go along with it.

I bet it does, if it's tied to your job like that.

It's a symbol from my church. So it's tied to my job too, yeah.

That's fine, most people don't. And if you're not into the religion then it's probably not that interesting to you anyway. I'm not here to proselytize.

Yeah, I guess so. I've worn it for so many years, it's a part of who I am.
